On April 11, CCTV's Focus Interview aired a special program titled The Year of a New Start, featuring in-depth reports on the high-quality development of China's energy industry.
Set against the backdrop of the kickoff year for the 15th Five-Year Plan, the program presented a full picture of China’s drive to build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient new energy system from multiple perspectives. It covered the clean and efficient utilization of traditional fossil energy, the large-scale development of wind, solar and other green power sources, the accelerated deployment of new energy storage, as well as the coordinated evolution of computing power and energy.
While exploring the future of energy, green hydrogen was highlighted as a pivotal emerging energy carrier. The program visited Ordos New Energy Research Institute and introduced its progress in technological research across the entire green hydrogen industrial chain and related industrial applications.
